Is 17 Mature Enough for Plan-B?

There is a new debate about the age limit being lowered from 18 to 17 for buying the Plan B pill without a prescription.  They are asking if age 17 is mature enough to buy this new drug.  This drug “Plan B” is meant to prevent a pregnancy within the first 72 hours.  It is not an abortion pill but merely a preventative measure against pregnancy.

I think that if a 17-year-old is mature enough to spread her legs and have unprotected sex with a boy, whether it be consensual or non-consensual, then she is mature enough to buy this over the counter and not need to go to the doctor’s office and have to get her parents permission.  I mean come on, by the time it takes you to get the courage enough to tell your parents that you had sex then you have to wait for the appointment (that is if you don’t go in as a walk-in) a week will have gone by and by then it’s too late.  You can only take this within the first 72 hours for it to work.

Do you really want there to be more 17-year-old mothers in the world?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.  I mean, come on, Maury Povich has cornered the market on finding out who the baby daddy is when it comes to girls who are 12 years old all the way to adulthood.  If a 12-year-old is mature enough to get pregnant I think she should be allowed to buy this too so I think that 17 is way mature enough.

The debate shouldn’t be is a 17-year-old mature enough but instead it should be how can we make sure all teenagers who are old enough to have sex get this pill?

Chimp Attacks Woman

I just read this story on the AOL news page about a woman who has a Chimpanzee who raised him from a baby and this chimp was treated like a real human being.  This woman’s husband died and he basically put himself in the deceased husbands place I think.  When the woman left the house the chimp would be sad but when she left with someone else he took that like she was cheating on him.

Here is my opinion.  Chimps belong in the jungle with other chimps.  They don’t belong on TV shows with truck drivers (Although BJ and the Bear was a good show) and they don’t belong with families with children or with lonely widows.  They belong with their own kind.  You don’t see any human children being left in the jungle to be raised by monkeys do you?  There are no real Tarzan’s or George of the jungles or that kid from jungle story.  The 2 species should never intermingle.  Especially considering we “evolved” from them.

Yes it would be cute and fun to dress a monkey up in your childs clothes and put a baseball cap on him and put diapers on him (although it wouldn’t be fun changing said diaper).

That’s sick.  A friend of hers came over to the house and the monkey went ballistic and started ripping her face off and this poor woman now has to have surgery to put her face back together.  The widow stabbed her own pet and was yelling on the 911 tape to SHOOT HIM.  How can you deal with that?  Stabbing your own pet and telling the cops to shoot him.  OMG this is why the laws need to change.  This is a wild animal lady.  You don’t keep a wild animal in your house.

Caylee Anthony Memorial

The Caylee Anthony memorial was today and Casey had the opportunity to watch it on tv but she didn’t even ask for it.  What the heck is wrong with this woman?  Is she that deranged that she won’t even watch her own daughters funeral service?

Doesn’t she know that every action has a consequence?  By not requesting to watch it on tv she is implicating herself even more because had she watched it and cried the jury would see that she has at least some remorse for murdering her own daughter and they wouldn’t be so harsh on her.  Or it would’ve shown the jury that maybe she didn’t do it.  Who knows.

At least by watching it she would’ve shown the jury and the public that she doesn’t have a heart of stone or ice.

Drew Peterson’s Fiancée Moves OUT!

I am so happy to hear that the new fiancée of Drew Peterson has decided to move out.  She talked to her father and said that he was starting to be too controlling which was the way he was with Stacy Peterson.  He told her that he doesn’t want her to work, that he will take care of all of her needs.

This woman’s father was probably freaking out thinking that Drew was going to murder his daughter.  But he was at the house helping his daughter leave and Drew was telling him F you F you and the father of the fiancée called 911.  6 police cars show up and they let them take her stuff but they said the camera guy had to go.  So the father told him to take a hike so they can get her out of there.  Why was there a camera guy?  Maybe it was for a reality show lol who knows.

I’m relieved that she has seen the light though.  This guy has no business being with anyone.  They showed an interview with Drew Peterson saying that he told her that he was 47 and she said she was 17 and he said he’d look in his law books to make sure it was legal and the legal consenting age was 17 so he said it was ok.  Uh, dude!  I don’t think so.  Get a clue.  He needs to just live the single life for a while especially since it’s only been a year since his 4th wife Stacy went missing.  Geez, he wastes no time at all.

Rod Blagojevich Impeachment Trial

Rod Blagojevich knows he did something wrong by trying to sell Barack Obama’s senate seat and he is being impeached.  He knows he’s up shit creek without a paddle so he’s trying to turn this whole trial around and make it look like these judges are asses for trying to impeach him for doing good things.

Such as his argument is that Bush changed the rules in Washington with health care and people in Illinois were without medical coverage so he helped them get their health care again and because of this I’m being impeached.

Elderly and infants needed flu shots and I worked hard to make sure those elderly and infants got their flu shots and because of this I’m being impeached.

LOL are you kidding me?  Uh, you’re not being impeached for that you ass.  You are being impeached for trying to sell a senate seat HELLO!  He just doesn’t want to admit that what he did was wrong.  He wants to totally ignore the whole reason he is being impeached and make it look like he’s being impeached for everything but that.  ASS!

Drew Peterson’s Fiancée Moves In

Remember Drew Peterson whose wife disappeared?  This is the Bolingbrook cop.  Wife number 3 allegedly drowned and wife number 4 is still missing although he still isn’t a suspect for that one.  And now he has another one who would be wife number 5.  Isn’t she just a little bit nervous dating him?

And speaking of dating… what the f is he dating for?  His wife is still missing.  She might have been kidnapped and wants to come back to him.  Or she might have run away or something.  The point is, there is no body so he is still married to her.  He can’t get married to another woman until they know for a fact that she is truly dead.

But whether she is dead or not is totally not the point.  It’s too soon to start dating someone else and having her move in.  I mean come on, the body isn’t even in the ground and he’s already disrespecting his wife by moving in another woman.  If it were me, I’d be looking for her and doing everything in my power to find her even if it means looking for a corpse instead of a living person.  I wouldn’t be dating other women and trying to find a replacement.  Does this man have no shame?

According to the link above, if Stacy Peterson doesn’t respond in 30 days, his marriage is legally over and he can get married.

Ohio Boy, 4, Found at Rest Stop After Mother Killed During Home Invasion

Man held on $5M bond in slaying of Ohio mom  – Link to news story is broken.

This really gets to me.  This 22-year-old guy in Ohio allegedly invades a home, ties the mother up and then shoots her before kidnapping her son.

“Authorities say he shot and killed the 29-year-old mother in her home and drove her son to an Interstate 70 rest area in central Ohio, where travelers found him wandering around.”

This is really disgusting.  He apologized and said “my fault”.  Pahleez!  I don’t want to hear it.

This is what they are saying on Jane Velez Mitchell on HLN that the child was raped while the mother who was tied up was forced to watch.  But the 2 news stories above don’t mention that part.

The poor kid is scared to death.  According to ABC he has no physical scars and he jumps at every little noise.

“Nelson said that while William bears no physical scars from the incident, he’s having a hard time coping with what he saw.

“He’s terrified,” Nelson said of his only child. “Loud noises are just really disturbing to him.”

“When one of William’s young cousins knocked a toy truck down the stairs, he “just from the noise from that, he jumped a mile.”

This poor child.  I really feel sorry for him.  This 22-year-old guy who did this will probably never see the light of day and he will probably be murdered in prison because the other inmates don’t like people who harm children.  And if he did indeed rape this little boy they will indeed rape him before killing him.

Skeletal Remains Found in Florida

Skeletal remains of a little girl found in Florida not far from Caylee Anthony’s grandparents home.  They think that it might be the skeletal remains of Caylee Anthony, the little girl who was allegedly murdered by her mother in June 2008.  Notice I said allegedly?

Casey Anthony, who is in prison right now for the murder of her daughter will probably get the death penalty.  They took that off the table but it can be put back on the table.  They are also testing the duct tape that was used to cover the child’s mouth with for finger prints on the glue as well as the duct tape that was used to wrap the little girl with a plastic bag.  When they finish looking at the finger prints they will know without a shadow of a doubt who killed Caylee if it is her.  Also they said there is still some flesh on the skeleton so they can probably do a DNA test to make sure that it was Caylee’s body.  I guess they would do like a maternity test by comparing the DNA of the body with the mothers DNA.

Even though this is good news for everyone to find the body it is still bad news knowing that poor Caylee is not still alive.  But it is not a fact that this is indeed Caylee until the autopsy has confirmed who it is.  The skeletal remains have been sent to the FBI office for study.

Oh one more thing, they said that they found out that there was Chloroform used, they determined that by the smell inside the bag and they talked about how Casey Anthony was doing a search on the internet for Chloroform.  The Fox News team were saying that it is not uncommon for parents to use Chloroform on their children to put them to sleep if they cannot find a babysitter.  WHAT!?!?  Not uncommon?  Holy cow!  What’s going on in this world?

Update: I saw on the Fox News ticker just now that a utility worker who was going into those woods to take a leak found the bag and picked it up and a skull fell out.  The skeleton was found 1/2 a mile from the grandparents home in Florida.

Toy Store Shooting

Yesterday I reported that there was a gang shooting in a Toys R Us in Palm Desert, CA where 2 people were shot.  Well the news just updated letting us know that 2 men who were shopping at the toy store pulled out their guns and shot and killed each other but they aren’t sure if it is indeed gang related.

In other news, the amount of people who died in India yesterday have gone up.
