William Shatner Blocked My Ass

Priceline Negtiator

So here’s the story of how I found out that William Shatner blocked my ass on Twitter. I was scrolling through Twitter, as I do, and I came across a tweet from Mark Hamill retweeting something from William Shatner and this is what I see.

My first thought is that perhaps William Shatner deleted his tweet and that’s why it’s unavailable, so just to be sure I tap it and this is the next thing I see.

WHAT? Why in the world did William Shatner block ME? I’ve never said anything negative to him. I’ve admired him my entire life. I loved him in “Star Trek”, heck, I played with his action figure when I was a child. I loved him in ALL of the “Star Trek” movies. I loved him in “T.J. Hooker” and “Haven” and “Weird or What?” I absolutely loved him in the Priceline commercials, and I think that’s why he blocked me.

So when I found out he blocked me, I went to Twitter and searched my Twitter name which is @Xanapus and his Twitter name, which is also his actual name, and I found this tweet that someone had RT’d of my tweet. I couldn’t find my actual tweet.

So my tweet was referring to this article here from E Online saying Priceline Kills Off William Shatner’s Negotiator—Watch His Grisly End. So what is wrong with me saying rest in peace to “William Shatner’s character in the Priceline commercials.”???? What did I do that was so wrong? I was sad, I was upset, and I was in mourning for his character. Was what I said a blockable offense? No, it’s absolutely not. There was not one negative thing in my tweet to him.

Priceline did kill him off, he went over a bridge in a bus and his character did in fact die, but they brought him back with a daughter. Kaley Cuoco Is Now Priceline Negotiator William Shatner’s Secret Daughter. I was so happy they brought him back from the dead and I love Kaley Cuoco as his daughter.

You know what? I’m really hurt that he decided to block me over such a harmless tweet, but if he has such thin skin that me saying RIP to his character is going to make him block me, then fine, I honestly don’t care. I won’t love him any less than I have my entire life. He will always be a hero to me, so you do you William Shatner.

Update: Ok so here’s some new information. Apparently he is blocking a LOT of people. Check it out. Go to Twitter and search Blocked by William Shatner. Someone said that William Shatner is a huge Trump fan, so perhaps he is going through the list of his followers and finding out who has tweeted anything negative about Trump and blocking them. Someone else told me it is a badge of honor to be blocked by William Shatner, so I added that badge to my Twitter profile.

Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear

I woke up late (which is normal since I’m up till 3am most nights) and went into the living room and saw that Darrin was watching this rally in Washington D.C. on CSPAN. I thought, oh great, another Glenn Beck rally? No thanks. Then I saw it was Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. Darrin was complaining about how stupid he thought it was but that didn’t prevent him from watching it all the way through.

I sat and watched it for about an hour with him then went in my room and turned the TV on and it was also on Comedy Central. I looked at the guide and it said Scrubs was supposed to be on. I wanted to see how much longer it was supposed to be on but since it said Scrubs I had no clue. Didn’t TV Guide know this was supposed to be on? I sat and watched the rest of it until it was over and it was pretty good. It was completely commercial free which is unusual for Comedy Central to do without some kind of brand recognition.

Darrin didn’t think it was funny, he complained about how Jon and Stephen kept interrupting the 2 singers who were singing about a train, he said it was completely uncoordinated. I had to remind him that it was part of a skit they were doing. It was obvious and I’m sure they rehearsed it.

There were quite a few singers and it looked like a fun rally that I wouldn’t have minded going to had I been in D.C., awake and knew about it beforehand lol. Then again, it’s a lot of standing, no thanks. I can barely stand long enough to do the dishes let alone stand in a crowd not being able to move an inch for 2 hours.

I actually don’t know for sure that it was 2 hours long and I’m sure those people had to wait several hours before it started. All I knew was that at 12 it was time to change the channel and put on Elvira’s Movie Macabre. I have my priorities you know.

In case you missed it, you can check in with Jon in the Rally to Restore Sanity or with Stephen to Keep Fear Alive. It was pretty entertaining and I appreciated what Jon said at the very end about tolerance and hate. Bravo Jon Stewart.

Official Book Club Selection

I started reading this book on October 17th and just finished reading it today.  It took me awhile to read it because it was so big but I enjoyed every minute.

I wanted to read this book not just to read all about Kathy’s life but I also wanted to read it as research for my own autobiography and it helped out a lot.  It also gave me encouragement to include a few things that I was afraid to, but not too many things.

I was touched in chapter 4 when she talked about her brothers friend sexually assaulting her, yes it was only a kiss but he was 28 and she was 13, that is sexual assault, rape and child molestation.  Then she talked about her brother almost molesting her too.  I was actually in tears throughout most of that chapter.

Then when I got to chapter 9 where she was talking about doing Suddenly Susan and talked about her co-star David Strickland I started crying because I liked him.  I heard about the drugs but I didn’t know the whole story.

When I first heard on the news that he killed himself I just remember crying because I loved him on Suddenly Susan.  When I hear that an actor who I loved killed themselves, it makes me sad and upset.  He had some pretty funny lines and he was so cute and I just couldn’t see him killing himself especially when he’s working on a TV show.  It was just really sad.

But then she got to Woz, co-founder of Apple and then she had all these emails in that chapter.  I think I fell asleep about 3 times.  I just couldn’t stay awake.  It took me longer to read that chapter than any of the other chapters.  I don’t know why she put them in there.  I mean, she could’ve just made up a story of how things progressed based on her recollection of the emails but she thought it would be better to just show them.

I was glad when the next chapter was going back to the story though.  By the time I got to the end of the book, there was an interview with Kathy from Random House.  Again, I was bored to tears.

I love Kathy Griffin to death and I was happy that I finally got to read her book.  I laughed, I cried and then I fell asleep.  Despite the boring parts, I still give her props for writing it.  She could’ve left the world in the dark but she chose to let us in on that private part and for that I thank her.

I think that if a person doesn’t like Kathy Griffin for her humor, read this book and it just might change your mind.  Maybe you might all of a sudden be able to remove the very long and very thick stick out of your ass and realize how funny she really is.

Let me tell you how D-list she really is.  I went to put in the tags for this post and let yahoo suggest tags and it didn’t even show her name as a tag.  Hello, how many times is her name listed in this post?  You would think that her name would’ve shown up in the tags.  I thought that she if anyone would appreciate the humor in that.

Kathy Griffin Has Inspired Me

I knew that if I read Kathy Griffin’s autobiography about her life that I would learn a thing or two about how to write an autobiography.

Sure, I could’ve chosen to read a book from someone who was gay bashed by bullies and their own parents (which is the main focus of this book) but well, frankly, I couldn’t find any.  And actually, Kathy’s book is the perfect choice because she was bullied in school and she was almost molested like me.  Although our situations are different, their not too far apart.

In fact, they are pretty much the same except she was only kissed by a 28-year-old when she was 13, I was lead around the house with my balls being held onto tightly when I was 15 before being tongue raped by a 50 something year old ex-prostitute woman who was my mothers best friend.  Great, I just told you the whole story, now what incentive do you have to read my book?

Well, it’s not the only story but at any rate, she has given me more confidence in the way to structure my paragraphs and even adding pictures and other graphics.  Although, I won’t be using a tiara.  Maybe…

I haven’t finished her book yet but I have two-thirds of the book to go.  It’s a very interesting read if you get a chance to pick up a copy or buy an e-book version of it.  Even if you don’t like her you will find her book easy to read, heart breaking and hilarious all at the same time.  I laughed, I cried, I screamed in pain because I passed a kidney stone while reading.  Ok that last part wasn’t true but I did cry for her pain and I laughed at her jokes.

So now that I’m inspired by her writing, even though I’m not finished with her book I feel more comfortable to continue writing at night which is usually when I have more energy to write since I have insomnia.  Why I get energy late at night I have no idea.  It just happens that way.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I wasn’t going to watch the new Housewives show because I think there is a bit of a housewife overload. But… when I found out that one of the housewives is Kim Richards who was a face that was all over the place in the mid 80′s, I figured I would give it a go.

I didn’t know that she is related to the Hilton’s either. Seeing her was a huge surprise, a good surprise.

Housewives rundown:

  • Orange County – Eh, I like one or two of them but the others I don’t care for.
  • Atlanta – I never really watched
  • New York – I liked New York
  • New Jersey – I LOVED New Jersey
  • Washington D.C. – I never really watched
  • Beverly Hills – I think I will like

I hate getting sucked into yet another housewives show but luckily they repeat so if I miss an episode because of my Thursday night shows then I can watch it when it repeats.

Darrin says that the houses in this new series puts all the houses in the previous shows to shame. He said that all the other housewives look poor compared to Beverly Hills.

Perez Hilton Pledges to Be Kind on the Ellen Show

We were watching the Ellen show today and Perez Hilton was on there talking about how he is changing his ways. He talks about how he has been going out there speaking about the recent gay suicides and people were calling him out because he was one of the biggest internet bullies which makes him a hypocrite.

He talked about how he doesn’t want people in his own [gay] community being ashamed of him and I myself have been one of those who have been ashamed. Have you seen his website? He put semen and penis’ on people’s faces. Nobody deserves to have someone do that to them on a daily basis.

He also talked about outing people and I am glad he talked about that. It’s none of anyones business who is gay and who isn’t. I for one am always saying who I think might be gay or who I wish would just come out of the closet already but really, it’s none of my business either. Although my reasons for saying it aren’t malicious, it’s out of lust lol.

I have recognized myself that I might have said a few things here and there about people and I knew it was unfair and have either deleted the posts or have added a retraction saying it was wrong so I at least recognize my own internet bullying. I have owned up to it and apologized and now Perez has finally decided to do the same.

I’m glad that he has finally recognized what a selfish bully he became and is going to start doing things differently although it will remain to be seen if he actually does make those changes or not. I like Perez so I’m hoping he stays true to his word. He mentioned in the interview that he was 26 when he started and he’s 31 now. It’s time to start acting 31.

Unfortunately, The Ellen Show doesn’t allow embedding their YouTube video’s so you’ll just have to click below for the video.

Lohan back on Twitter with traffic safety tips

Lindsay Lohan has only been out of rehab for less than 48 hours and it didn’t take long for the starlet to return to Twitter — and she’s offering up safety tips when it comes to getting behind the wheel, Access Hollywood reports.

“Clearly.. Paparazzi shouldn’t be allowed to take pictures or video while someone’s driving or at a stop light. 4every1′s sake #trafficpolice,” Lohan on Thursday afternoon.

Her Twitter followers last heard from her on July 19 when she asked another tweeter if he owned an iPad.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the 24-year-old actress had her driver’s license reinstated on Monday. Lohan was spotted at a Los Angeles-area DMV on Wednesday, where she was required to show proof of insurance in order to get her license back.

Lady GaGa – Can’t Tell Her No Or She’ll Prove You Wrong!

At first, I was skeptical with Lady GaGa. I mean, whose to take her borderline public nudity and ridiculous face make-up for anything more than a wannabe Marilyn Manson? But just like Marilyn Manson, you gotta’ respect this girl’s talent. Yeah, the fancy get-ups seem like an ill-focused distraction and desperate plea for attention, but underneath the seemingly misguided efforts is a young girl who was such a good writer she was commissioned by Interscope at the age of 22. She has a true understanding of what today’s youth wants and Lady GaGa knows exactly how to give it to them. You can’t fault her appearance- if you listen she has a rich voice with just the right balance of classical training and a Gwen Stefani punk-type overcoat. Check out a very real review from a very real Lady GaGa skeptic.

Manhattan-bred Lady GaGa is one of the more mysterious musicians we’ve seen this decade. Taking cue from Freddie Mercury, this talented young artist adopted her name in honor of his song “Radio Ga Ga”. But fans know little about her other than her signature slew of highly recognizable and exceptionally revealing attire. It is no uncommon occurrence to witness Lady GaGa wearing nothing but sheer lace head-to-toe and even then some, complimented by a matching lace mask; or perhaps dressed as a human disco ball, or looking like something from a failed throw-back sixties show. It is rare to see the musicians face as it is almost always obscured by a plethora of masks, hats, hair, and make-up.

Lady GaGa got her first hand at piano keys when she was just four years old. Within a decade the teeny-bopper was already playing open mic’s at small venues littered throughout New York. At the age of seventeen Lady GaGa earned early entrance into NYU’s Tish School of the Arts; making her just one of twenty in the University’s history. Clearly a talented musician, it was at the Tish School of Arts, awash in an eye-opening world of politics, religion, and more, that Lady GaGa really began honing her writing skills and exploring a more creative side.

After dropping out of NYU, Lady GaGa moved to New York’s Lower East Side and began performing alongside draq queens in burlesque shows. It wasn’t long before her outrageous persona caught the attention of Interscope records and was brought on board as a songwriter for the Pussycat Dolls. Soon after that Akon saw more than just songwriting; he saw a talented voice, and went on to sign her to his label.

Lady GaGa’s debut album, Fame, was released in 2008 and went up for a Grammy nomination for her single Just Dance. Though she has enjoyed a fast climb to success, she has endured a series of tough breaks this fall. After shrinking ticket sales forced her to prematurely end a planned tour with Kanye West (no doubt thanks to his inappropriate MTV Awards behavior toward Taylor Swift), Lady GaGa has had to scramble to salvage what was left of the fiscal year. Now you can catch this beauty live on her very own solo tour as she performs in a city near you. If you’ve not yet experienced the theatrics and excitement of a live Lady GaGa show, now is the time to go!

Roast of David Hasselhoff

Tonight was the night that the Roast of David Hasselhoff was on and I completely spaced out. I totally forgot about it. I usually set the cable box reminder but it slipped my mind to set it.

Darrin was in my room and he took control of the remote (typical male behavior) and we were watching some lame documentary about fish. Like I care about fish. I don’t want to be smarter, if I learn about fish then all the other stuff will spill out and I’ll forget all of my useless Buffy the Vampire Slayer trivia. Who do you want to play Buffy Trivial Pursuit with? The guy who watches fish documentaries? I didn’t think so.

So I noticed he was sound asleep anyway (typical, change the channel then fall asleep) so I grabbed the remote, turned on the guide and found the Roast of David Hasselhoff. I immediately change it and annoying as ever Gilbert Gottfried was on telling weird vagina jokes at Pamela Anderson‘s expense.

I laughed my butt off but Darrin kept waking up from my loud laughing and he would say what’s happening? So I’d have to tell the joke and then explain it because he didn’t get it, meanwhile I’m missing the next joke or 2 until I finally said stay awake so I don’t keep missing it.

It ended, it started over again and we watched it a 2nd time. It ended at 1:08am and I thought I was going to bed but no, I had to come and blog about it lol.

Ok, I know it’s a roast and I know that at a roast they make these horrible tasteless jokes. They are really bad like the one about Roger Ebert and Gary Coleman and how George Hamiltoncalled Hulk Hogan a fag twice. Excuse me? He could wipe the floor with your ass BROTHER! I know it’s a roast, I just hate that word with a passion. Can we please stop using that word? Even the most tasteless comedians wouldn’t say that word because they have more respect for gay people.

Look I don’t mind a good gay joke. I’ve told so many that were funny without insulting people, myself at the very least. After he said that I didn’t find anything else he said funny. I waited for him to get off stage so I could laugh at all the insults thrown in his direction.

Lisa Lampanelli is the funnies one on the Dais. She laughed her butt off with every joke at her expense. She loves to be made fun of because she knows that it’s all for the show and all in fun. That’s why I love her.

Anyway, it’s late, I’m sure it will repeat for those who forgot, if so make sure you don’t forget. He sings at the end.
