Kathy Griffin

Hehe one more post before I go to bed.  Yes I do blog a lot in 1 day don’t I?

We just watched 2 back to back stand up shows of Kathy Griffins on Bravo channel.  She is so freakin’ funny.  I just love her.  I’ve seen those 2 shows at least 5 times each and every time I see it I laugh my butt off.  How can you not laugh?  I love her because she has the balls to say what everyone is thinking but is too afraid to say it.  And it’s all in fun.

If you are so stuck up that you can’t laugh when someone makes fun of you then maybe you need to be made fun of lol.  I know if I was an actor I’d be upset if she wasn’t making fun of me in her act because then I’d know I’m not famous yet.  I’d probably send her flowers and invite her to dinner begging to be made fun of lol.

New Season of Shows – Fall 2008

Finally summer is nearly over and my shows can come back.  This season I have shows 6 days a week again.  Mostly I have 1 show a night but some nights there are 2 shows.

Sunday: I only have 1 show and that’s True Blood on HBO.  If for some reason I miss it I don’t have to worry because of HBO On Demand.

Monday: Heroes and Chuck are coming back for season 2.  I also watch Medium on CBS but that show starts in January 2009.

Tuesday: As of right now I have nothing on for Tuesdays but Reaper is supposed to be coming back in January 2009.

Wednesday: I have 2 shows on at the same time on different networks.  Knight Rider which will be on NBC and Pushing Daisies which is on ABC.  I watched the first season of Pushing Daisies so I’m gonna have to choose that over Knight Rider but thank goodness there is such a thing as On Demand because I will be able to watch Knight Rider on the NBC website whenever I want to.

Thursday: Smallville & Supernatural.  Those 2 shows I’ve watched since they began so naturally I’m going to watch these.  I read this will be the last season for Smallville.  It was supposed to be Clark Kent’s childhood (or teenage years) and he’s way past 21 so it looks like it’s nearly time for Superman to emerge on the scene which will mean the end of Smallville.

Friday: Ghost Whisperer.

Ok, so I was wrong when I said 6 days of shows, well, half wrong because Reaper is coming back in January so only half of the season will be 5 days a week.  That is unless there’s another strike preventing me from watching shows then they get canceled lol.  I don’t think it will happen again for another 10 or 20 years since the last strike was 20 years ago.

Sunset Tan

Wow, these people are so rich working at a tanning salon that they can afford a $6000 a month apartment.  OMG!  If you make that much money that you can afford $6000 a month for that, you can afford to buy a house.  Come on people.  I didn’t even know there were places out there that was that expensive.  Of course those apartments have maid service lol.  Still, that’s a lot of money.

Although, they didn’t take the apartment because the guy said it’s too much for an apartment and that it’s a mortgage payment so I don’t feel too bad now… I think.

True Blood

Tonight was the 2nd episode of a new show on HBO called True Blood which is about Vampires. True Blood is actually the name of a synthetic blood that the Japanese made to help Vampires so they don’t have to drink people’s blood anymore. They just buy a 4 back of True Blood and it gives them the nutrition they need but without murdering people. This particular story is about a girl who is in her early 20’s who can read everyone’s mind and she meets her first vampire who walks into the bar/restaurant that she works at. She immediately falls for him because she can’t read his mind.

I like this show because it’s a vampire show and anyone who knows me knows that I love anything that is supernatural. I would rather watch a show about vampires, witches, super heroes, guys who go around the country killing demons than watching something like 90210 or Gossip Girl.

It goes all the way back to when I was a kid. I was obsessed with Samantha on Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie. I was in heaven in the 90’s when Buffy started, then Charmed came and then Angel spun off of Buffy and there was Roswell and then in 2000 Smallville came and eventually Supernatural.

The last 12 years of television has been great for me and the hits keep coming. There was a show on CBS called Moonlight about vampires but it didn’t last more than a season which really pissed me off but now that True Blood is on HBO I’m happy again. And thank goodness I have HBO now lol.

New 2008 Fall Season

The new fall season begins next week and it’s the perfect timing because Tuesday night is the last night for Big Brother. Monday will be the last night for Big Brother on Showtime after dark so I can start watching Eureka on Tuesdays at the regular time and Ghost Hunters on Wednesday at the regular time. Those 2 shows repeat so in case there is another show on at the same time I can watch the repeat. Here are the shows I will be watching:

Mondays: Heroes and Chuck both on NBC
Wednesdays: Knight Rider at 8pm on NBC, Pushing Daisies at 8pm on ABC.
Thursdays: Smallville and Supernatural both on CW
Fridays: Ghost Whisperer

I’m very disappointed that Reaper isn’t on the list because that was a very good show.  Wednesday nights are going to be difficult because I watched Pushing Daisies last season so I’m going to watch that on ABC.  I wanted to see Knight Rider but it’s on at the same time as Pushing Daisies so I’m gonna have to watch Knight Rider on the NBC website or I’ll just have to download that one and put it on DVD’s.  Another show that I like to watch is Medium but that doesn’t start until January.

Edit: I just read at www.tv.com that Reaper will air mid-season which looks like January like Medium.  So this means in January things will change because there will be 2 shows being added and those 2 shows might clash with another show I have which means I will probably end up having to either watch those shows the next day on their websites or download them.

Ghost Hunters

Wow, tonight’s Ghost Hunter’s episode was really good. They caught 2 EVP’s that were really good. Well 3 actually but one of them wasn’t speaking English, you couldn’t understand what he was saying. The woman who owned the building said it sounds like Polish to her. The other voices which was in the attic sounded like he was saying “We want” but they think it was saying “What do you want?” which makes a lot more sense. I think he was saying what do you really fast so it sounded like we. Then Tango was up in the attic and he was basically cussing the ghost out and you could hear when Tango took a breath a voice that said “Leave me alone”. Awesome.

I’ve always believed in ghosts no matter what people say back to me. When I was a kid I used to see my grandmother Mimi or so I thought it might be her. I don’t know for sure what it was. And ever since we’ve been in Bakersfield I’ve been feeling what seems to be a cat jumping up on either the couch and my bed. I’m not afraid of a cat ghost because I know that cats are innocent creatures and they don’t have any evil inside them. Dogs are different though. Take Cujo for example hehe.

Doctor Who Season 2

I’ve finished watching Doctor Who Season 2 which is 1964/65. It’s very interesting to watch and even though I shall miss them, Ian and Barbara found their way back home although 2 years into their own future (they left in 1963 and returned in 1965, I guess they couldn’t go back to where they left). Poor Susan was left behind on earth in I think the 23rd or 24th century right after they defeated the Daleks. At any rate, he has 2 new companions and I can’t wait to see their further adventures in season 3 which would be 1965/66

Doctor Who Season 1

Well I just finished watching the last episode in Season 1 of Doctor Who from 1963/64. I look forward to seeing Season 2. It starts out with Planet of the Giants and then it goes on to the Daleks invading Earth hehe. I really look forward to the original Cybermen which is the first story in Season 5 which is the 2nd Doctor.

Not Much Going On

Not much happening today. I’ve watched the first 25 episodes of Series 1 (british seasons are series) 1 which was the first 3 dvd’s of Doctor Who from 1963/64. It’s so cool being able to see it from the very beginning. Tomorrow I hope to watch the 4th disc, Saturday I probably wont be able to watch much because I’m so hoping that Shelley will get my letter by then and call me so we can talk. Still, I hope to have the entire series 1 watched so I can move on to the next season. The next to last episode of the current doctor who (David Tennant) is going to be on Sci-Fi channel tomorrow night, the last episode is next friday.

Well, took my ambien so hope to be in bed soon.

Doctor Who 1963/64

I am downloading Doctor Who from 1963/64. Ever since they introduced the new Doctor Who in 2005 I’ve been watching it on Sci-Fi channel and I got curious about what the doctor was like at the beginning because there are 26 seasons of the original Doctor Who. You can’t help but be curious.

I’ve already watched the first 13 out of 43 episodes (actually there are 42 in the first season but I’m counting the unaired pilot in that) and it’s pretty good. There are so many episodes that were lost by the BBC and so this company has reconstructed the episodes with audio and some pictures that were saved from each of these episodes.

I actually read that not all the episodes have “telesnaps” so I look forward to seeing what those episodes are like. I’m hoping to be able to download all 26 seasons but that will take a long time.

Update: After the 2nd season I got bored with it (the reconstructed episodes were exhausting to watch).  The 3rd season was just too difficult to watch so I only got to see 1 or 2 episodes and threw in the towel.
