Anti-gay Android Game

I have been playing video games since I was 10 or 12 years old. Video games usually consist of you playing a character who is on a mission to kill something to win the game. Not all games want you to kill something, for example The Sims or SimCity. Some games have a different outcome or objective other than killing.

I used to play adventure games from Sierra and those were games where you have to look for clues like a detective. Like the King’s Quest collection, Leisure Suit Larry and Quest for Glory for example.

I’m currently into MMORPG games like EverQuest, EverQuest 2 and Lord of the Rings Online. Although those games are the type that you have to kill something to gain experience points to gain levels. It’s not always a person, sometimes it’s a monster. A monster is one thing because you know that it is something that will kill you if you don’t kill it first. Like take a dragon for example, that is something that you obviously have to kill before it kills you, right? And that’s perfectly fine.

The thing that I have the issue with tonight, and I don’t think I’m overreacting, is that I found a game in the Google Android Market that aims at killing gay people. This game is called gay hunter. In their description they say “it could be a bit controversial too.” Ya think?

I honestly don’t understand what goes through people’s minds when they decide to create a video game with the intention of killing a gay person who has done nothing wrong to deserve this punishment. A dragon is a harmful creature, a gay person just wants to live a normal life like everybody else. Why can’t they just give us that?

It’s a free country, so you can build your little anti-gay game if you want to, but I’m going to be who I am and I’m not going to let anyone dictate how I should live my life because it’s mine to live. I was born this way and I am happy that I was because it taught me to have more compassion for other people and I feel I am a better person for it. Whoever created this game has no morals and their karma is going to suffer for it, and that is my silver lining.

Awesome Update: I have a plugin that lets me know where there are dead links and I just found out that the link for this app is dead, so I went to Google Play and the app is GONE!  YAY!

You Are All Supporting Gay Rights Right Now

From 1 Million Moms against One Million Moms

Oreo Cookies decided to create a new graphic of their famous cookie, but stacked with rainbow colored cream.  One Million Moms has decided that Oreo, owned by Kraft, needs to be boycotted.  I mean, we can’t eat gay cookies now can we?  Then I saw the image above posted by 1 Million Moms against One Million Moms and it really got me to thinking.  Just about everything you can buy in the store is gay friendly.

For example, here is a (not alphabetical) HUGE list of LGBT friendly companies!!!  I mean, if they are going to boycott Kraft because they support gay rights, then they might as well boycott everything else in the world.

Like, what phone company do you do business with?  I hope you don’t have AT&T, Bell South, Alcatel or Sprint because guess what, they are in the list.  Verizon isn’t in that list but they should be because I know that they are pro-gay.  God forbid your cell phone is made by Motorola because guess what?  They support gays, heck they are responsible for you being able to use a cell phone.  I sure hope you aren’t using an iPhone because Apple is gay friendly.  Which reminds me, what Mp3 player are you using?  I hope it’s not an iPod.  God forbid you have an iPad or a Macintosh computer or even a Windows based computer or tablet for that matter.

Do you know what a CPU is?  It is the processor which is what makes your computer and other electronic device boot up.  Basically, it’s the brain of your computer.  Without it, your computer won’t even turn on.  Do you know who invented it?  A gay person!  Oh you didn’t know?  His name was Alan Turing.  So if you hate gay people so much, then you might as well put your desktop/laptop computer, tablet or all other electronic devices up for sale at the next yard sale so you can get your money back.  When I say all, I’m not just talking about your computer or cell phone, oh no, I’m talking about your calculators, your electronic watches your HDTV that you just bought for your living room and anything else that is computer operated.

If computers are gay because of the CPU then I have news for you, all of your money is gay too.  Yeah, how do you think they make money?  Computers!  And your bank statements that come in the mail were printed from a computer not to mention that they know how much money you have in the bank because they use a computer.

I can’t forget to mention that if you are reading this because you found the link on Facebook, you are supporting gay equality because guess what kiddies, Facebook is gay friendly.  You didn’t know?  So is Twitter.  What  browser are you using?  Cause I hope it’s not Google Chrome, Yahoo or an Internet Explorer based browser.

You know what, you might as well go live with the Amish because everything you buy at the grocery store is gay, including the computers they use to ring up your total.  So unless they use pen and paper to write it all down and use an abacus to ring your groceries up, you are supporting gay rights and equality.

Speaking of the Amish, they don’t have any electronic devices, they don’t even have cars.  Guess what, cars are also gay.  So if you drive a car, you are supporting gay rights equality.  Every time you fill your gas tank you are supporting gay rights too because BP and Chevron are pro-LGBT.  I sure hope you don’t have car insurance because AAA, Esurance, Prudential and Allstate all support LGBT.

You can’t escape it, you are all supporting gay people as we speak.  It’s all around you folks, the air you breathe is gay air because guess what?  If God created the world as you say he did, he also created gay people, so by living in this world, you are breathing gay air and you are supporting gay rights.

I’m sure you have already forgotten about that HUGE list of LGBT friendly companies!!! so there it is again.  Go ahead, read it, read every single company that supports gay people.  So take a deep breath and just accept the fact that you cannot boycott everything unless you plan on living in a house that you had to build yourself from trees you had to manually cut because all of the electronics used to cut the trees to build your houses with had a CPU in them.

Yeah so good luck with that boycott.  Let me know how it worked out for ya.  Of course you can’t, what was I thinking, you can’t contact me at all because you would need to buy paper and envelopes, that is unless you plan on making them from the sawdust and wood shavings that came out of the tree when you built your cabin in the woods.

Just a note of clarification, I know not all people of faith are as wacky as the fundamentalists like the Westboro Baptist Church or the One Million Moms who are really more like 47k.  So I’m not bashing anyone’s religion, I’m just saying this to those who are homophobic who want to boycott because of LGBT rights and equality.  I don’t care what religion you follow or if you don’t follow any religion.  Basically, if you are not anti-gay, then this isn’t for you.  This is for those crazy people who think that it’s OK to take away the rights of their fellow human beings like me.

Gay bashing/bullying is not a new fad, it has been happening for decades.  It is a very sad thing and I feel sorry for every gay person who went through it.  Ever since children started committing suicide because they couldn’t take the bullying anymore, people have been making “It Gets Better” videos and posting them on YouTube.  I love to watch them because I love to see the positive message at the end.  These videos are meant to help children change their minds about suicide, but it also helps us adults who after all those years are still contemplating it.

Take a look at this one.  His YouTube channel is called savealifeful and he brought me to tears with his story.  When he says that the bullies taped him to a pole and then taped his hair, tears flooded my eyes, actually I’m starting to tear up again just thinking about the torture he went through.  Take a look at his story.  Perhaps he will inspire many others out there who are depressed and wanting to make that final decision.  Maybe his video can save a life.

Pray the Gay Away?

Thanks to the Oprah Winfrey Network (the new OWN channel) we have some new shows to watch on TV and Our America with Lisa Ling is among one of them that I am interested in watching.

Todays episode was “Pray the Gay Away?” along with a very special primetime episode of the new Gayle King Show where they discuss the episode, take calls and talk to participants from the documentary.

I think that every gay person has their own beliefs as to why there is homosexuality. My own partner of 17 years believes that he is gay because of his parents’ failed marriage when his father came back from the Korean War in the mid 50’s. His father came home mentally traumatized and their relationship ended and his father eventually passed away. He believes that the destruction of his parents marriage and subsequent death is what turned him gay. And he has every right to have his opinion whether I or anyone else disagrees with it.

I personally believe that I was born this way because I’ve always had an attractiveness towards the same-sex since I met a cute boy named Ruben when I was 4 years old. I had dreams about him and I just knew that I liked him. There was nothing out of the ordinary that made me choose to like him, I just did.

I mean, one could argue that I may have turned gay because of the abuse I endured throughout my childhood but I didn’t know any better. I thought it was normal for parents to beat their children and call them stupid and retarded and worthless among other names. I saw the way my aunt and uncle raised their 3 kids which was basically the same or worse so that there told me, it’s normal. My cousins were treated way worse than I was and they all turned out straight and so did my sister.

So in my case I just don’t believe that my being abused the same way as 4 other people had any impact on my sexuality because I was the only gay one.

I do have other cousins from a different aunt and uncle who treated their kids like human beings and 2 of them turned out lesbian after suffering no childhood trauma. So what does that tell you? They raised 5 kids and 2 of them turned out differently despite all of them being treated with the same love.

The argument that there is no evidence of a gay gene and that it’s all taught to you, you are born straight but you turn gay from your environment is all bullcrap to me. Maybe the gay gene isn’t meant to be found, maybe we’re chosen for this life for population control or who knows, maybe something else.

This Exodus group tells people that they can change and I feel it is wrong because the only person who can change you is you. If you are gay and you are just so unhappy about it and want to put in the effort to turn straight then go for it. Don’t expect for it to work because you will always be gay no matter what they tell you. But if you are in that much pain about it and you have the will power then fine. Do what you like, it’s your body. But don’t turn around and condemn those who refuse to live a lie for the rest of their existence.

This one woman (whose name escapes me) who is a pastor and says she was a lesbian for 14 or so years but then decided to be straight, she compares homosexuality with addiction to drugs or alcohol. I can’t even begin to think what Bullcrap that is because I’ve been gay for 40 years and celibate for the last 10. I am not going through withdrawals lol. I didn’t go through withdrawals 10 years ago, 5 years ago, 2 years ago, 1 year ago or today. I am completely withdrawal free and unfortunately still sex free but that was never my choice, it was the choice of my partner who has erectile dysfunction (he’s 21 years older than I am) so I have to respect that.

Of course being a born again Christian he tells people that he is abstaining from sex not because of his “ED” but because he is a “non-practicing homosexual” so the church won’t kick him out. And hey, if that’s what you have to do then that’s what you have to do. I have no ill feelings about him for any of that.

That only thing that pissed me off throughout the whole show was that ex-lesbian woman comparing sexuality to addiction. I think that I am living proof that it was never an issue of “I gotta have it” because I don’t gotta have anything. I can certainly abstain with the help of my old childhood friend Tom Thumb and his 4 brothers.

Look if you are a born again christian and you feel that being gay means you are going to hell for it and don’t want that then change yourself because that is what you want to do. Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking it’s wrong because it’s not wrong, it’s natural to want to live a happy life and for someone to tell you that you are sinning are themselves sinning for taking gods job away by acting as judge. There is a recession so let God do his job.

It’s 2011. When is racism and bigotry going to end? Is it going to be soon?

We all believe in what we all want to believe in and these opinions are what I believe in. Thank you for reading.

As for my relationship, our 17 year anniversary is in 2 1/2 weeks. Even I can’t believe it has been 17 years. I am with the person I was meant to be with whether sex is involved in the relationship or not. Sex doesn’t make a relationship, it is only a part of it and who says it even has to be any part of it after so many years? We love each other just the way we are, thin or fat, sick or healthy, till death do we part. In this life and the next as I feel I have found my true soul mate and no church can convince us otherwise.

Autobiography Research

I went looking on the Rainbow ebooks website for an autobiography and they don’t have that category so I searched in biography which is empty. So I went to the borders website to find a gay autobiography in e-book format but unfortunately there are 34,537 biographies. They have many categories so you can narrow down your search but there were none in the “gay” category so I thought…. GOOGLE!

Note: I searched Borders because I have $15 borders bucks from doing surveys with e-rewards.com and I’m tired of only being able to get $25 Game Stop cards. I was never really interested in the other rewards they offer but now that I have a Nook I figure I might as well get some ebooks out of it.

So I went to the Google search engine and typed “Autobiography of a gay person” and this is what came up.

Edward Carpenter’s “My Days and Dreams” was published in 1890. Like other early gay male autobiographies, the book was reticent about its author’s intimate relationships.

This is the very first autobiography of a gay person and it was published in 1890. You know what first came to mind? A book that was published in 1890 is now out of print which means… It’s FREE!

I turned my Nook on, went to the shop menu, chose e-books then typed in the name of this book and it was the 2nd thing in the list and it said it was from Google and it was free!

So now I get to do my research from a pioneer. Although, his experience is going to be totally different from mine given the fact that they were from BLOODY 1890… but still. It will help me anyway.

Patriot?

I got the most disturbing email today. I don’t know how I got on their mailing list but some how the website Patriot Update started sending me these horrible emails spewing hate towards gay people. It’s hilarious to me that they sent it to a gay person.

This email was very long so I’m not going to paste the entire email and force you to have to read that much text but I will pick out a few things that disturbed me the most. I have created a html page with the entire email here.

First of all they have a big red ALERT because it needs your immediate attention! Because gay people are so horrible so they need to ALERT you with a big red graphic.

It starts out with this:

Dear fellow American,

The Radical Homosexuals claim you and other pro-family Americans actually now support same-sex marriage, special job preferences for homosexuals and promotion of the homosexual lifestyle in schools.

The radical homosexuals? Special job preferences and promotion of the gay lifestyle in schools? What?

  • Special job rights for homosexuals and lesbians . Businesses may have to adopt hiring quotas to protect themselves from lawsuits. Every homosexual fired or not hired becomes a potential federal civil rights lawsuit.Radical homosexuals will terrorize day care centers, hospitals, churches and private schools. Traditional moral values will be shattered by federal law.

Businesses have already had the quotas for minorities so why is it that gay people shouldn’t be allowed to fit that category? Gay people are part of the minority. And being fired because you are gay is ILLEGAL so yes, there is going to be a lawsuit, deal with it.

Terrorize day care centers, hospitals, churches and private schools? How? How the hell are gay people going to terrorize those places?

  • Same-sex marriages and adoptions . Wedding-gown clad men smooching before some left-wing clergy or state official is just the beginning.You’ll see men hand-in-hand skipping down to adoption centers to “pick out” a little boy for themselves.

First of all, men who are going to marry another men aren’t going to be wearing wedding gowns you morons. They are both going to be wearing suits. So that statement right there is offensive. And they will obviously get a minister who is gay themselves or gay friendly, they aren’t going to force an anti-gay person to marry them.

You won’t see men hand-in-hand “skipping” anywhere, we’re not 10 years old. Skipping to adoption centers to “pick out” a little boy. Is that a joke? Are they trying to say that all gay people want to corrupt little boys? No, if anything gay people would want to adopt any sex child, girl or boy, we don’t discriminate because they aren’t a boy and by saying that they are implying that gay people are going to adopt little boys to molest them.

  • Homosexual advocacy in schools . Your children or grandchildren will be taught homosexuality is moral, natural and good. High school children will learn perverted sex acts as part of “safe sex” education.With condoms already handed out in many schools, Radical Homosexuals will have little trouble adopting today’s “if it feels good do it” sex-ed curriculum to their agenda.

WHAT?!?!? These people are so out of touch it amazes me.

Ok if you want to read the rest of the hatred go ahead. It sounds so much like a plot in a novel where all gay people are evil vampires sucking blood from the vein of society. They have a survey in MANY links and banners in the email begging you to tell them how you feel and then begging for money.

The whole email made me nauseous.

I unsubscribed because I didn’t want their emails to begin with and when they asked why I told them that I don’t agree with their hatred towards gay people and they make me ashamed to be an American. Because their name is “Patriot” Update.

The definition of patriot to me is someone who loves their country not someone who hates gay people. This website is an anti-gay website, not a pro-American website. They are so out of touch with who gay people are and they probably don’t want to know the truth about gay people. All they care about is that they don’t like them and they will do whatever it takes to stop gay people from having the same rights as everyone else does under the constitution of the United States of America.

No, they are not patriots at all. They call the gays “radicals” but they are the radicals. Get a life!

Oh by the way, I took that survey and all the answers were already set to NO so that all you had to do was submit.  I changed them all to YES and submitted the survey and got an email saying thank you for supporting us.  Idiots lol.

Justin Timberlake Goes Gay For Pay

Justin Timberlake Will Play Gay for Upcoming TV Series – Source PopEater.com

I love Justin Timberlake and I was thrilled to read that he is going to be doing the voice of a gay character in the animated Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show. He will be playing Paul who will be the love interest of Terry.

Terry Kimple?  The guy with the mustache?  Seriously?  I never would have taken him for gay.  That surprises me and is hilarious at the same time.

I have mixed feelings about this because on one hand I think it’s awesome that he is going to play any role on a show that I watch but at the same time, a lot of straight people who act gay for a tv series or movie tend to overact the part because they or the director think that is how a typical gay person acts. And yes, sometimes they are spot on certain gay people but that’s not how all gay people act and it comes off as condescending to me sometimes.

When Will and Grace was on the air I didn’t know that Eric McCormack was actually Straight but I thought he portrayed the typical gay man perfect. He couldn’t be more perfect for the role of Will Truman. He wasn’t overly feminine in the show, although he had his moments but don’t we all?

It will be interesting to see how Justin plays a gay character in The Cleveland show when it airs. Either way, my opinion of him most likely won’t change because he is just so funny to me. I loved his SNL music video skit of D*** in a box, that was hilarious lol.

Oh, he’s not only playing Paul but he’s also playing a singing booger.  Rallo’s booger in fact.  That is hilarious and something I would’ve expected him to do.
