The Bokni Magus

Well, I finally got my character back up in level so he is back to where he was last night.  I’m even back to the mob boss I was at last night who kept killing me which eventually lead me to exit the game and start playing the other one.

I’m back to him and I thought that the only thing that would help me was my ranged weapon but I shot at him over and over and over until all my ammo was gone and had used up almost all my HP potions and I still died.  That guy just won’t die.

What I’ve read other say in message boards is that the only way to kill this guy is to run around the edge of the walls until he stops to recharge his mana or whatever then try to kill him.  I’m not sure if that will do me any good because he heals so fast.  Even if I did wait for him to gain more mana then try to attack he’d probably gain his mana fast enough to heal himself and I’d never kill him.

I read that it took 1 person 2 weeks to finally off this guy.  Someone said try the multi-player mode and get help with it but most of the people chatting in the multi-player chat room are little children from the way they are talking to each other.  You know the way kids talk to each other, 1 insult after the other.  Yeah OK, some adults are like that too so I’m not sure who is who anymore lol.

I’m going to try one of the techniques I’ve read about tomorrow.  For now my left hand is hurting me from the analog stick thingy.

Dumb Dumb Dumb

I am so thick sometimes.  I forgot to save my game yesterday with Untold Legends.  I had gotten to level 16 or 17, I forgot now, and I didn’t save my game once lol.  Well that’s OK because having to start over made me remember the things I was supposed to learn from the beginning which will help me where I was stuck when I stopped playing it last night.

There is this mob who kept running from me and I couldn’t kill him and he was shooting me but I couldn’t get anywhere near him.  I have a ranged weapon but I didn’t know how to use it.  So now I know.  This could help me get that guy.

Also I found out that you can play online with other people, even if they aren’t sitting in the same room or house with you.  But they want a minimum of level 50, they don’t want you if you are just learning the game.  I created an account though so when I do get to that level then I can try the multiplayer mode.  This means that I gotta solo my way to level 50 lol.  Then again maybe it’s impossible to solo your way to level 50, maybe I need to get into a guild or join a group of people to get to level 50.  I didn’t see guilds, I just saw groups of people trying to find more players.  Wow, reminds me of all the times I sat and waited for people to play with.  But I don’t know if it’s worth it to sit there waiting for people to come then have your battery die and have to play with the plug.

EverQuest for PSP

Untold Legends which I got today at Game Stop is very similar to EverQuest.  So I finally got the PSP’s answer to EQ.  I read that Sony wanted to create a version of EQ for the PSP but they couldn’t or something like that but they made Untold Legends.  It is very similar to EQ.  There are quests and merchants and you go up to people and talk to them and you got people following you and helping you fight.

Although nothing beats being able to chat with people but there is a multiplayer mode via lan or adhoc.  I don’t know how it works with the Lan though.  Maybe you gotta be chatting on the phone lol.  Who knows.  Or maybe you can use the headset with the mic.  With Adhoc you are sitting in the same room as the person you are playing with.

But I don’t know anyone with a PSP so it doesn’t matter.  I will always have to choose single player lol.

New PSP Games

We went to Game Stop today and I picked out 2 games.  Untold Legends: Warriors Code and Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters.

They were both used so I got a good price, Untold Legends was $12.99 and Ratchet and Clank was $14.99.  Because I had a $25 gift card I only had to pay $5.01 extra.  It’s nice to get a new game but these don’t scratch very easily so used PSP games aren’t a big deal.  I usually keep my games in their cases so they never get scratched.

I can’t wait to play these new games.

Robbed!

No, I wasn’t robbed but our neighbor whose name is Bob was robbed.  He had this girl living with him who cleaned his house in exchange for free rent and utilities but he wouldn’t give her a key.  She had her own room so why not give her a key?  That’s called being imprisoned.  Anyway, she would open her bedroom window and she put a chair by her window and she took the screen out and she would climb out the window and then come back in when she came back.

Well, Bob didn’t know that and he woke up this morning and she was gone and so were all his DVD movies and audio CD’s also some of his electronics were gone too.

I’m sorry this happened to him but you don’t just ask someone to move in with you if you don’t even know who they are and not give them a key and make them clean your house in exchange for free rent.  Although, how do you really know anyone?  Anybody can come into your life and pretend to be your friend then rob you blind when your guards are down.

We have bars on our windows to keep the burglars out.  This isn’t a really good neighborhood.  There was a murder last week a block from our house, a double homicide in fact.  A couple of years ago on July 4th this guy was beat up right in front of our house and he was taken to an alley and shot several times and nobody heard the gunshots because of all the fireworks.

I really want to move.

Student Bunk Bed

LOL I have to laugh because I have this fantasy that I have a bunk bed with a desk in my bedroom.  I’m 38 years old going on 12.  I just don’t feel 38 for some reason.  I want to have posters of singers on my walls and I want to have a bunk bed and sleep on the top bunk.  This is the first time I’ve had my own bedroom, and I really mean that.  When I was a kid I either shared a room with my older sister or when we lived in Reseda my bedroom was a walk-in closet and when we were in Sepulveda my bed was in the living room.  I never really had my own bedroom.

When I was living with my sister I had to sleep on the couch in the living room.  I did move back in with my parents when I was 18 and I had my own bedroom but that was short-lived, I’ve had my own room many times but for a short period of time.  I don’t count the times I’ve lived in motels as having my own room cause that’s all it was, a bedroom.  When I’ve been in relationships I don’t consider the room being mine because it was shared with the person I was with who always had the design decision.

I didn’t have a very good childhood and so I’m reclaiming it and I just don’t feel 38.  I feel like a pre-teen with my bike and my video games and stuff.  My bedroom here in Bakersfield is a really small room, I don’t have any room to walk around or do anything.  If I had a Nintendo Wii system I wouldn’t be able to play games very effectively because I have no room to move in here.  My desk is so huge too which isn’t bad, I actually like my desk.  It’s a corner desk and it’s right next to my tv so I can watch tv while typing (as I am doing now).

Darrin is about to start working (keep your fingers crossed) at Mor furniture for less and they have these bunk beds (in the children’s section lol) and one of them I really like.  It has a desk on the side and it has a top bunk bed then it has a bottom bed that sticks out and it’s really neat because it has shelves inside there and a dresser which I don’t currently have.  I’m using Rubbermaid drawers for my socks and underwear and I have to fold and put my t-shirts in the linen closet.  So this would be perfect for shirts at least.  Here is a picture.  The only problem is it’s $800 lol.

Since I’m not using my laptop anymore because I can’t afford to renew my warranty, I’m only going to use it for GPS when we go on trips and it’s really slow so I’m going to have to reformat it so when we do go on trips the GPS will load much quicker.  Although, I would love it if we could buy a $99 TomTom.

When I was using my laptop, I had it specifically for all the IM programs like MSN Messenger, Yahoo IM, AIM, ICQ, Skype and MySpace IM.  Plus I was using it for Microsoft Money 2004.  It came with the laptop.  But since I’m not longer using the laptop I had to install all of those programs onto my desktop and since I’m not playing EverQuest anymore then I have no reason not to have those run on the desktop.

The only drawback is that when I turn the computer on I have to wait forever for it to load.  The laptop typically took about 10-30 minutes to load.  Yeah, I know.  I’ve reformatted it but then as soon as I install all that crap back on there it takes forever again to load.

So why do I have all these IM programs installed?  Because some people absolutely will not use some IM programs.  Like for example, my cousin refuses to use anything but ICQ.  Well, he’s the only person that I know who uses ICQ.  I have friends who will not use anything but MSN Messenger.  Some friends will only use AOL or AIM.  So in order to accommodate all those people I must have 6 IM programs running at the same time.

Actually, to be honest I stopped using ICQ because my cousin never gets on it so why keep loading it?  All I get are spam IM’s so if he can’t get on another IM program then I’m not going to accommodate him.  I mean, he ain’t using ICQ so why should I have to load it right?

When Playing Becomes Scaring

I have a 3lb Chihuahua.  She likes to play.  She LOVES to play.  I was holding her and blew on her neck, you know like when you blow on a baby’s stomach and it makes a farting sound and it makes them giggle.  Well, I can tell when she’s laughing because she starts sneezing and, well, I can tell.  And so I kept doing it and she thought it was funny, she was having fun.  Then I did it on her side and all of a sudden she got real serious and PEED on me.

I don’t know what’s wrong with her.  Whenever I’m playing with her I kiss her and stuff but whenever my face goes anywhere near her side all of a sudden she gives me this look of horror and starts peeing on me.  It’s like she’s scared all of a sudden that she thinks I’m gonna just start chowing down on her.  As if, she only weighs 3lbs, she barely has any meat on her at all.

We’ve had her for a year, don’t you think that by now if we were going to eat her we would’ve eaten her already?  What’s up with that?  I mean it’s not like we’re fattening her up to prepare her for Thanksgiving dinner, I mean, Thanksgiving has already passed.  LOL.  Poor thing.  I really love her, she’s so cute and so funny but… I don’t want to eat her.

Chatty Kathy

It may appear that I like to talk a lot.  I mean because I have 460 blogs over the last year and half (including this one).  At the beginning of this blog I only blogged once a day, sometimes only a few times per month.  But then when I started using Word Press all of a sudden I’m blogging sometimes 4 or 5 times a day or more.  I just have a lot to say.

But my online personality is so not the way I am in real life.  I mean, if I have a story to tell then I’m chatting and sometimes wont shut up but there are times that I just don’t talk at all.  It’s not because I have nothing to say but like when I go visit family it seems like my brain freezes, and not the good way like when you drink a Slurpee.  It’s like all the information in my head drained during the flight or bus or car trip.  You know when you are on the freeway for a long time and because you have gone to a higher elevation than you are used to your ears are plugged up?  Well, I think that’s what happens, my ears plug up to keep all the information in but there is a leak somewhere and all the words just leak out.  Maybe it’s when I fall asleep during the trip.  That’s when the defenses are down.

I’ve visited my aunt’s Betty, Louise and Joyce’s house and it seems every time I go there, I can’t talk.  I just have nothing to say.  My brain just clears.  It reboots if you will but windows just doesn’t load properly, it goes into safe mode.

But, you give me a keyboard and I can’t shut up.  All the information needs to be released and it comes out here.
