Cell Phone Popcorn

I was just sent this video that shows these people with cell phones sitting in a circle on a table with about 5 or 6 pieces of pre-popped popcorn and they each call their perspective cell phones and all of a sudden these pieces of corn just start popping.  Then they show another group doing it then another group doing it all getting the same results, popcorn.

However, I went to YouTube so I can get the video so I can embed it in here much easier than just putting in a link and I found this one instead.  It’s from a radio show called “The Regular Guys” on 100.5 FM in Atlanta, Georgia.  They try the same thing but get no results.  I don’t know if it’s because one of the cell phones was vibrating away from the corn or not but the corn did not pop thus debunking this myth.

I went to Snopes.com to get the whole truth about this and it’s false.  The snopes page that I actually went to was about cooking an egg with a cell phone but towards the bottom of the page they showed these videos about popcorn.  They show a CNN news story where they talk to the guy who created these videos for a blue tooth company who basically made this up to sell his product and these stunts are all for a commercial.  Not meant to scare people but meant as a joke and to sell their product.

Update 2011-02-09: Apparently it seems that 2 out of 4 of the videos in this post have become private.  I’m assuming because the people who put the first video up knew that it was fake so they made it private because they were probably getting negative messages.  The last video at the bottom (above this update) is private and I don’t know why.  I do know that this was a hilarious stunt and it should be back up for all to enjoy.

Vice President Biden Blunder

Apparently our new Vice President hasn’t had very much experience with the computer because he doesn’t know that it’s not a number but more an address.  You would think that with Obama constantly on his Blackberry that computer lingo would rub off of him and onto Biden.  Or Biden’s children or grandchildren would be talking computer talk around him.  I’ve never heard of a website be referred to as a number.  Welcome to 2009 Mr. Vice President.

Fart Jokes

Why is it that fart jokes are just so much fun?  You are so embarrassed when you do fart when you get caught, that is unless you did it on purpose to get a reaction out of people.  Or when you hold out your finger to a child and say pull my finger.  It’s just that the sound of a fart is hilarious.  The smell however is the most nasty, disgusting thing so there is a bad side to it lol.

However, there are some people who just detest making light of a fart.  They are such uptight people who think they are better than the rest of the world because they think a fart joke is in bad taste.  Uh, Hello!  Fart jokes are in bad taste, we realize this.  It still makes me laugh when I see someone farting in a movie and they can’t control it.

I watch South Park.  OK, did I just hear someone say nuff said?  That guy is right.  South Park is chock full o fart jokes and even though it’s so dumb and stupid it’s hilarious and I can’t stop laughing.

Get over it people.  Oh, one more thing, would you do me a favor?  Can you just pull my finger?  It will make me feel so much better.  Go on, you know you want to.

Ahhhhhhhh thank you so much I feel so much better.  Now you’re gonna want to clear the room.  It’s for your own safety.

Kathy Griffin

Hehe one more post before I go to bed.  Yes I do blog a lot in 1 day don’t I?

We just watched 2 back to back stand up shows of Kathy Griffins on Bravo channel.  She is so freakin’ funny.  I just love her.  I’ve seen those 2 shows at least 5 times each and every time I see it I laugh my butt off.  How can you not laugh?  I love her because she has the balls to say what everyone is thinking but is too afraid to say it.  And it’s all in fun.

If you are so stuck up that you can’t laugh when someone makes fun of you then maybe you need to be made fun of lol.  I know if I was an actor I’d be upset if she wasn’t making fun of me in her act because then I’d know I’m not famous yet.  I’d probably send her flowers and invite her to dinner begging to be made fun of lol.

Pineapple Express

We went and saw Pineapple Express. Hilarious movie. I myself don’t care for pot but I do love a good pot joke lol. Seth Rogan seems to be a very funny guy and he is working his butt off this year doing so many movies.

One thing that made me laugh really hard was the pink eye joke.  They said that they got pink eye because they were farting on each others pillows and so I guess the feces that came out of the fart and landed on the pillow gave them all pink eye.  That was hilarious.  I don’t know if you can get pink eye that way, I’ve never had pink eye so I don’t really know anything about it but I’m pretty sure that if you are living with people who are farting on your pillows then your situation needs to change, soon lol.

Les Grossman

I just saw a commercial for Tropic Thunder and they are introducing a new actor named Les Grossman. LOL That’s hilarious. That is Tom Cruise under all that fat and baldness. He’s trying to make a new name for himself as Les Grossman either as a joke or to help boost his career again. Whatever, he was good in that movie.
